About

We are Diana and Victor, two longtime Jersey City residents bringing happiness (feliz) and deliciousness (deliz) to JC with our cakes and sweet and savory pastries. We began Feliz Deliz in late 2022 with one item: our carrot cake.

We've recently opened our brick-and-mortar shop in downtown Jersey City at 336 Second Street. Stop by, drop into Darke Pines, or visit Àbákẹ́ to try our desserts.

Diana has worked in the dessert world since 2011, mainly in Manhattan restaurants: Riverpark, Del Posto, élan, Boulud Sud, and Loring Place. In early 2020 she began working at Bread & Salt, helping to expand and diversify their pastry menu to what it is today.

A native New Yorker, Victor has had an entrepreneurial mind all of his life. With degrees in accountancy and entrepreneurial management, he has helped many businesses as a business and tax consultant and worked for  corporations like IBM and Ernst and Young.
